Will you be serving alcohol at your wedding?

Answer

Alcohol will not be served at the wedding. We do not drink alcohol. This has been a lifelong decision for Sam. Alexandria saw the health benefits Sam experienced as a result of his choice not to drink and it inspired her to follow that example. We invite you to join us on our journey to health, even if only for a few hours. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

We would like to have a child-free ceremony and reception. While we LOVE your little ones, children tend to get cranky or bored during events such as weddings. We hope to have a peaceful garden experience with family and friends to celebrate the beginning of our lives together. You are welcome to come enjoy the afternoon with us without watching your little ones.

Answer

We are limiting the amount of guests to only those listed on the invitations. We want to be surrounded with family and friends we know on our big day!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Leu Gardens has plenty of onsite parking. Both the ceremony and reception are at the Gardens.

How would I notify you of my dietary restrictions and/or food allergies?

Answer

PLEASE let us know of any major dietary restrictions or food allergies! You will be able to note them on the formal invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear garden party attire. Think fresh florals, soft colors, and crisp linen. Stiletto heels are not advised; there will be plenty of walking to get from the ceremony site to the reception site. There are paved paths, but you never know!

10:00 in the morning? Why does the ceremony start so early?

Answer

That's a great question! Central Florida gets very hot very early in the day. We originally planned on having a sunrise ceremony but recognized that it would be difficult for loved ones to attend. 10:00am helps us all to avoid being outside, in a garden, during the hottest part of the day. To ensure that the ceremony is able to run smoothly while respecting your time, latecomers will not be permitted to enter the ceremony site once the wedding begins.

Will I still be able to attend the wedding ceremony if I am fashionably late?

Answer

Unfortunately, if you are late you will not be able to attend the wedding ceremony, but you are welcome to attend the reception starting at 11:00am! If you believe you will not be able to be seated on time for the wedding ceremony, please let us know by adjusting your RSVP accordingly. The ceremony does have to start promptly at 10:00am because we only have the ceremony site booked for a limited amount of time. Please note that latecomers will not be permitted to enter the ceremony site once the wedding begins.
