At a seemingly ordinary event on a random day in May, God had an intentional plan for two of His children to meet. Samuel and Taylor were both serving at a church fundraiser to send kids to summer camp. During dinner, they found themselves at the same table and began sharing their lives and stories. It was there that the spark of love was born as they saw eachother and recognized their shared hearts for the Lord. A season of waiting followed, but God was still working and drawing them together as He called them both to serve in student ministry in the fall. While serving, Samuel saw even more of Taylor's love for the Lord as she showed love and kindness to others. Not long after that, on October 10th, Samuel went on his very first date ever with Taylor, the woman he would soon know for sure that he wanted to love and spend the rest of his life with. So on December 29th, a very snowy winter day, Samuel asked Taylor to marry him and she said yes.
