The couple met at Berry College through a music education club called CNAfME where the two officially met for the first time. Samuel really caught Alyssa's eye! She worked up the nerve to ask him to eat dinner with her after a wind ensemble rehearsal and he agreed! After dinner they talked for a while getting to know each other and really hit it off. The couple made plans soon after to watch a sunset together at Berry's victory lake, which they renamed loser's lake (you should ask why!). That evening they talked for hours and hours and really learned more about one another and even got to dance in the rain together! Quite a first date to remember. They started to visit churches in the area together and got to know each other more. The more time that passed, the more they realized the love and dedication they had to each other. 2 years later Samuel set up a truly beautiful "picnic" proposal on mountain campus to remember the picnics they have shared with one another... and she said yes!!
