Need something to do Saturday morning? Highly recommend the farmers' market and the surrounding stores in the Kendall Whittier area!
For art and architecture lovers, this is the spot to check out. An old, historic Tulsa home-turned-museum is a great spot for an afternoon in Tulsa. Plus the gardens are stunning.
Sam and I both ADORE Gardner's. It's the most organized used bookstore you've ever been to in your life and the people are SO helpful. They also sell comics, DVD's and a few vinyl records. Worth checking out if you have time!
A super special place to both of us (why we got engaged here) but also just a great place to hangout. If you have kids - don't miss the playground or the little beach. If not, go for a walk, grab some ice cream. sit by the pond & feed the fish. You won't regret it.
Vinyl lovers - this is for you. The BEST selection in town. The guys that work here are super nice and can help you find just about anything. Sam and I have spent WAY too much time (& probably money) here.
Adults needing a good happy hour / brunch / evening spot - this is for you. GREAT wine selection and knowledgeable sommeliers plus good cocktail list as well. Most of all - super great vibes. Go with friends or take a book and sit at the bar - you'll have a blast either way.
Honestly, if you've been here before - skip this. BUT those new to Tulsa, it's worth checking out this little attraction. Stand in the right spot and you'll hear your voice echo back to you from all directions. Don't expect too much though, it's a vandalized piece of sidewalk for now - hoping Tulsa goes through with its planned facelift!
