San Diego Model Railroad Museum
The Model Railroad Museum is run by a couple different model railroad clubs. One is dedicated to realism and scale, and the other is dedicated to tom foolery and fun! Both make models that are equally captivating to look at.

We love Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub so much that it's where we're having our reception! Check out their excellent omakase Wednesday-Sunday 4-9pm
Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore
Mysterious Galaxy is our all time favorite book store. They specifically only stock Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery, and Romance (basically the only genres that matter) it is a perfect store and the staff are awesome!
RakiRaki Ramen & Tsukemen
Raki Raki and its conjoined sister restaurant, The Yasai, make some of our favorite Ramen in San Diego. If you decide to explore South County SD, check out the Convoy district for the best eats!
Lara's Labyrinth
One of our all time favorite things to do is escape rooms with friends! There are lots of places in Oceanside and around San Diego, but Lara's Labyrinth has yet to have a boring themed room!
Shoots Fish & Beer
Shoots makes excellent tacos, poke, and other fishy treats! They have both Oceanside and Carlsbad locations for your convenience!
Buena Vista Lagoon Nature Center
On days when the weather is nice, the lagoon separating Oceanside and Carlsbad is awesome for a stroll! It's also where we took our engagement portraits!
The Taco Stand
The Taco Stand has locations all over Southern California and makes our favorite tacos! Bonus, the Oceanside location is right across the street from The Plot and Wrench & Rodent!
Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton
One of our favorite dates is walking around the Arboretum on sunny days and it was where we got engaged! See if you can find the stinky tree!
Wildland
Wildland makes excellent pizzas, pastas, salads, and more!
San Diego Zoo
We love the SD zoo more than we hate Sea World!
