Maid of Honor
This is what best friend is. Ryan has been Stephanie's best friend for the last decade. If you'd like to make pleasant conversation with her, she likes dogs, U of M football, and prison documentaries. However, if you'd like the conversation to be unpleasant, approach her mid-bite of her Doritos Locos Taco.
Officiant
The Groom's friend, and crasher of first dates. When Ben met Jack at their old workplace, Ben asked if he was into board games, and Jack responded, "hell yeah, I love Monopoly!" Luckily, Ben decided to give him a second chance, and they've been best friends ever since.
Maid of Honor
The Bride's baby sister. Don't let the scowl fool you, Kristen is adventurous, fun-loving, and down for anything. From comedy shows, to NOLA trips, to the highest roller coaster at Cedar Point, to Maid of Honor duties, you can always expect an enthusiastic "yes!" The sisters have always been partners in crime, and the only competition between them is who's going to cry the most on the wedding day.
Best Man
The Groom's good friend, and the Bride's BEST friend. Sam and Ben met during their freshman year at Kettering. They were roommates in college, and then again seven years later. A true jack of all trades, a master strategist, the couple's biggest hype man, and a troublemaker both in Werewolf and in life. He's capable of just about anything... except flying a kite.
Bridesmaid
The Bride's friend, and girlfriend to Jacob. If she ever quits her job as an assistant account executive, she should really consider a career as a professional bridesmaid. So far she has unfolded at least 300 folding chairs, answered 500 napkin-related texts from the bride, and drove the drunk groom home for his board games in the middle of the engagement party. We can count on her for anything and everything.
Groomsman
The Bride's younger brother, and boyfriend to Lexi. Tall, dark, and handsome. When their mom asked if Jake liked Stephanie's new boyfriend, he replied, "Ben is a subpar bowler." Since then, Jake and Lexi have become the couple's first choice for any double date night, breaking out of escape rooms and eating a LOT of tacos. There have been many social contracts entered across their mom's dining room table when the board games come out, and he did eventually get over Ben's terrible bowling skills.
Bridesmaid
The Bride's Emotional Support Friend. Stephanie and Andjela met while waitressing at Granite City Food and Brewery, a restaurant neither of them would recommend. Like most restaurant-born friendships, their bond was formed over gossiping in the silverware rolling room, laughing at the POS stations, stealing coffee to get through the morning shift, and ending the night at Bailey's. Andjela is the only person who knows more about Stephanie than Ben, and yet still elects to stay friends with her.
Groomsman
The Bride's youngest sibling. Small, dark, and handsome. He'll be the one shuffling from foot to foot, unsure of what to do with his hands. As the baby of the Rogers family, Michael is no stranger to having favors asked of him. If you ever need someone to get your drink out of the fridge, turn your bedroom light off, or stand up in your wedding, he's your guy.
Bridesmaid
Former coworker of the Bride. Another Granite City alumna, Meghan and Stephanie bonded over their joint habit of crying in the walk-in cooler. Though she be but little, she is fierce, and her generosity and loyalty are boundless. She loves her giant dogs, and, if the situation calls for it... ducks. She has many talents, but most notable is an uncanny ability to take any moderately awkward moment and make it unbearable.
Groomsman
The Groom's friend, and forever DM. Though they met in high school, the friendship didn't really kick off until college when Ken saved Ben's scholarship by refusing to introduce him to a game that was too fun. Since then, many game nights have been had, theories crafted, Dahan saved, and strategies optimized over the course of their friendship... but Ben still refuses to play engine builders with him.
Bridesmaid
The Bride's friend, and Tik Tok dispensary. Currently a resident of the Windy City, Erika was once the greatest bartender Granite City- Troy had ever had the pleasure of employing. Their friendship began with a drunken confession at a Memorial Day BBQ, which really set the tone of the rest of their relationship. Erika is always ready to share a glass of wine, a deep conversation, and a quick waterboarding.
Groomsman
The Groom's older cousin, brother to Will. Most likely to be second best dressed of the wedding party (edged out by the groom). Mike came all the way up here from Florida to party with us, so be on the lookout for the bright turquoise sneakers to hit the floor as soon as the ceremony ends.
Bridesmaid
The Bride's younger cousin, sister to Jordan. Stephanie's first best friend... even though she threw sand in her eyes, nose, and mouth in grandma's backyard when they were kids. Taylor and Stephanie share an undying love for all things Disney, and have spent many childhood vacations together at the Happiest Place on Earth, decked out in Minnie Mouse ears and princess dresses.
Groomsman
The Groom's younger cousin, brother to Mike. Will and Ben have the type of bond that can only be forged through thousands of hours of gaming together. Whether they're getting nuked by Gandhi or smurfing on Twisted Treeline, they've always been an unstoppable team.
Bridesmaid
The Bride's younger cousin, sister to Taylor. Jordan is the calm in the storm, and is the perfect antidote to any wedding planning neuroses. She's the only other cat lover in a family full of dog people, but unfortunately kitty play dates aren't really a thing. She's smart, capable, resilient, and her eyebrows are always perfect.
Groomsman
The Groom's friend. Adam and Ben met in high school history class where they bonded over Slavic parentage and video games. Many late night conversations were shared over AIM chat discussing the finer things in life, like cute girls, chess openings, and Dane Cook jokes.
Bridesmaid
The only one of the Bride's friends that understands Cricut jargon. Every wedding party needs a pregnant bridesmaid, and Krystal stepped up for all of us (YOU'RE WELCOME). A lumberjack in a past life, she doesn't mind putting her hair up and getting her hands dirty. Don't let the itsy bitsy pomeranians fool you, Krystal is tough as hell and laughs at things that would put the average person into the fetal position.
Groomsman
The Groom's friend. Most likely to use this wedding as a network opportunity, Jacob can talk to anyone about anything. He's our resident boy genius, never stops smiling, and is happy to help with anything that might come up.
Flower Girl
Niece of the Bride and Groom. Zoey is a walking, talking ray of sunshine, who keeps her Auntie Stephanie and Uncle Ben laughing for hours. She has basically mastered drinking out of a big girl cup, is the youngest ever member of MENSA, bakes the best gluten-free muffins, and can definitely name more dinosaurs than you. She has the kindest heart and the quickest mind, and is the only wedding guest Stephanie doesn't mind sharing the spotlight with.
