Erin drove back from Milwaukee for her friend Meagan's birthday. Meagan ended up getting stuck in Steven's Point, but Erin and another friend, Brenna, still wanted to go out. Brenna's cousin suggested to meet her at Kittner's, where the cousin was also celebrating a friend's birthday. Brenna and Erin agreed it would be a great time and to go out despite the birthday girl not being there. When Erin and Brenna got to Kittner's, Brenna's cousin introduced them to Nick, the friend celebrating his birthday, and his other friend Bobby. Erin and Bobby didn't talk much until the next bar and an older creepy guy kept trying to get Erin's attention. Bobby approached and Erin pulled him in between her and the creepy guy. Conversation started rolling and they continued to stay in touch while Bobby was in Lousiana for a month of Army training.

After a month of texting and snapchats and dates between Milwaukee and Green Bay, Bobby finally asked Erin to officially be his girlfriend. Of course she said yes.

After Bobby had switched to active duty, Bobby and Erin had some difficult decisions to make. While Bobby was at AIT and after many months of discussion about what to do, they decided they wanted to live together. So they moved in together.... all the way in North Carolina at Bobby's new duty station- Fort Bragg. The couple knew the outcome they wanted was to be together.

Erin had been begging Bobby to go on a scenic hike at a state park for a fun day out. That day came when Bobby and Erin both had the day off. Bobby found the perfect ring prior and then he finally had the perfect day and opportunity. Once they arrived at a scenic overlook, Bobby popped the question (with the help of their dog Zoey).

Bobby and Erin had all their plans set to elope to Hawaii. With the virus, the military announced a travel ban for all active duty military.... 2 days before the flight to Hawaii. With the ban still in place and a deployment quickly approaching, Bobby and Erin didn't want to wait to officially be a married couple. They decided to get married at the courthouse in Fayetteville, NC.
