Think of what you’d wear out to a nice dinner! For men, a button-down shirt or polo shirt is perfect. For women, a dress or blouse/pants are both great.
Guests should wear a midi or long dress, a dark suit, or a tuxedo. If you own a tux, this is a great occasion to wear it. If not, please don't rent one — a suit is perfectly appropriate! We recommend avoiding stiletto heels as you’ll be walking on grass!
Lowndes Grove is located along the Ashley River less than 3 miles from Downtown Charleston (10-15 minute drive). We’ll provide shuttle transportation between our blocked hotels (near Marion Square) and the venue. Alternatively, you can Uber/Lyft from wherever you’re staying. If you wish to drive, on-site parking is limited so we recommend arriving early!
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us! If you plan to bring your kids to Charleston, Perfectly Poppins and Simply Southern Sitters are recommended local babysitting services.
