We're Getting Married!

It all started with a swipe on a dating app known as (Tinder). July 19th, 2022- Sam delivered the first message to Gabriella which was "You are having my kids". I am sure Gabriella probably thought I was some sort of weirdo for using that as my icebreaker, but it was true and I meant it. From the moment I saw Gabriella's profile I was in awe. I immediately said to myself "This is the one". As we continued talking we exchanged numbers and snapchat's and continued talking. We face-timed every night and after a while, made plans to finally meet in person. Gabriella invited me out to St Charles for her birthday to meet for the first time. July 30th, 2022- I showed up to Flagship in St Charles with my cousin Dominick. After looking around the bar forever, I found Gabriella and got greeted by her entire family. I'm over here meeting cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends left and right on the first date. At first I was like this is crazy but at the same time I loved it. After that night Gabriella and I enjoyed our summer hanging out and getting to know each other more and more. One of our last summer dates was at a Jason Aldean concert in Tinley Park. September 10th, 2022- Halfway through the concert, I asked Gabriella to be my girlfriend. From that moment on I knew I was falling deeply in love. May 14th, 2023- While Gabriella was working, I went to her parents (Michelle & Chris) and asked for their blessing to marry their daughter. Following that I asked her grandfather (Bop) and grandma (Momma) as well. After speaking with her parents, momma and bop, I received the blessings from the most important people in her life and I started to feel relieved and truly apart of the family. After that, the engagement planning began! August 20th, 2023- I planned the engagement with Gabriella's Mom (Michelle) and sister (Isabella). We planned for Gibson's Steakhouse in Oak Brook. We agreed on this location because of Gabriella's family traditions being held at Gibson's, so I knew it would be pretty special to do it there. After I popped the question, Gabriella and I stopped by her momma and bops to show them her ring and share the big news! Later that day, Gabriella's mom hosted a engagement party at her house. It was pretty special to bring in that moment surrounded by loved ones. Our next big adventure begins January 3rd 2026 as we get married!!! Our First Picture!👇🏼
