Can I get to the ceremony early?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive no earlier than 6pm. Blockhouse is located on Pomarius Nursery, which is open to the public 7 days a week until 6pm. We must wait until they close for the evening before we allow guests to enter the venue. Thank you for respecting our local businesses!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, due to limited capacity at our ceremony space, there are no plus ones at our wedding. Thank you for understanding. All invited guests will be clearly shown on your party's invitation. Please do not write in additional guests.

What is the money dance?

Answer

This is a Mexican wedding tradition where guests can "pay" to dance with the bride and groom. This is a fun way to get the party started and show support for the newlyweds! Guests will join the couple on the dance floor, place cash in their pockets, and get a quick dance with the bride or groom, or both! Of course, participation is optional, and small contributions are warmly welcomed!

What should I wear?

This will be a semi formal event! We kindly ask that our guests refrain from any casual wear such as jeans or T shirts. The wedding ceremony will be held in a fully covered greenhouse, but the rest of the ceremony space will be half outdoors. There will also be a very short walk down the street to the reception venue. The reception space will be completely indoors. Please check the weather and dress accordingly :)
