If you're renting a house or staying in an AirBnB, heading to the beach at the end of your street is your best bet. If you're staying off-island, Ship Bottom Beaches are easiest to access, or there is public beach access at 68th St. in Brant Beach. Beaches off of Holyoke Ave and Holgate are popular for surfing.
Step back in time and walk the Maritime Forest Trail through one of New Jersey’s last remaining maritime forests. Hours may vary, but the lighthouse is also open to the public to climb to the top. The story of Old Barney is a fascinating one!
Main shopping area on the island. This is where you'll find local boutiques, coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, and more!
Another hub with boutiques, local bars & restaurants, coffee shops, mini golf, and more! This area was pioneered in the early 1920's as a main fishing port for the island, and is still a leader in commercial seafood production.
This our favorite coffee spot! Also a great place to stop for a quick breakfast or lunch.
A boutique and coffee shop all in one!
"Brewed at the beach for the beach" -- make sure you buy a few cans to go!
If you can't find the Bride's parents, they're most likely at Happy Hour here!
Sammy worked here for just under five years, becoming the Hotel Manager just out of college. This is another great Happy Hour spot!
Our favorite hole-in-the-wall place with the best Reuben and Cheesesteak sandwiches on the island. Open since 1936 and is cash only.
BYOB with amazing diner comfort food.
A little hut nestled in Bay Village with the best clam chowder and lobster bisque on the island!
Voted #1 mini golf on LBI!
Two 18-hole courses.
A Landmark on the island, and home of Sammy's first job at 15 as a kiddie-ride attendant! If you're looking for something to do on a rainy day, the arcade attached to the park is a great place to be.
