Our story began in February 2021 in Hoboken, during a time when the world was still adjusting to COVID restrictions. Pat had just moved to town, and fate (or maybe Millie) brought us together. Sammy quickly took on the role of tour guide, showing Pat all the best restaurants and hidden gems that make Hoboken so special. It didn’t take long for us to realize how much we had in common — from our shared love of fitness, the beach, and great food, to our mutual adoration of Millie, the world’s best pup. By May 2021, our friendship had grown into something more, and we officially began dating. Since then, life has been an incredible adventure filled with vacations, Hyrox races, and countless memories. After a few wonderful years in Hoboken, we traded city views for ocean breezes and made our home down at the Jersey Shore. On August 8, 2025, Pat proposed on our rooftop in Hoboken — the place where it all began. Millie, of course, played her part perfectly, making the moment even more special. It was the easiest “yes” ever, and the perfect start to our next chapter together
