Our Story
In May of 2019, Matt was browsing SAD (IYKYK shoutout Krystian & Shelly) when he saw a post of Sam. He was immediately intrigued and sent her a DM. Sam was in Belize at the time completing a rotation for pharmacy school when she saw the message. Although she rarely had service, they began to message back and forth whenever they could. This continued until Sam returned home and they facetime’d.
Soon after, they met in person for the first time and have been inseparable ever since. They began flying back and forth from YVR to ORD and vice versa until Sam made the decision to move to PDX for work and to be closer to Matt in 2020. Since then, they’ve been driving from YVR to PDX every month to see each other. In October of 2024, Matt proposed to Sam during their trip to Japan, her favorite place in the world, and she said YES!
When they’re together, they love going to the gym, going on walks, watching shows, rating restaurants, finding new recipes, travelling, and just laughing 24/7!
