We're getting Married

We met in the summer of 2019 at River and Trail Outfitters—Jade a first-year raft guide, Matt in Operations. By late summer, a first date in Shepherdstown sparked something wonderful, and by fall we were already falling for each other. We celebrated Matt’s birthday with a trip to the Lower Yough, and in March 2020 he moved into Jade’s apartment in Charles Town. That spring we adopted our sweet cat, Theodore, and began building a life filled with small joys and big adventures. After a few unforgettable years, new jobs, and memorable travels, we bought our first home in Ranson, West Virginia in April 2023. In March 2024, Matt surprised Jade with a beautiful proposal in downtown Frederick. Now, with full hearts, we look forward to a lifetime together and are grateful to share our love with each of you.
