Aaron and I met 4 years ago at a bar, Whiskey Dix. I religiously went there to line danced, while he worked there. We meet through a mutual friend. Aaron first words to me were: I would have to stand on my tailgate to make out with you. Then he walks away. Needless to say he is a funny guy. đź–¤
On a Saturday morning Aaron told me that we were going to a fancy restaurant in Nashville, so I needed to be ready to leave by 5. Aaron isn't much of a planner, so I was very nervous with him making plans. So we are going to this restaurant and see that we are pulling into centennial park, which I was confused because we don't have the best memories there. Aaron just stated we had to drive through for a short cut. Then he pulls up and parks, and I couldn't figure out what we were doing other than maybe he was there to pull a prank on me. We get out and start walking towards the Parthenon, which is beyond beautiful. I see balloons on the side of the building so I think he had something for my birthday, which was two days before. Then he started getting really nervous and red. Next thing I know he is holding my hands, saying you know I love you. Aaron got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course me being how I am, I said No at first just because. Then Aaron told me to turn around and there I saw my family and his family watching him propose to me. I admittedly started crying. Then I said Yes, he placed the most beautiful black diamond ring on my finger. I love you Aaron 🖤💍
