Nneka, she is an automatic friend because we didn’t have a choice but to hang because we lived together lol…We shared a room with each other up until she left for college. She used to read me Lisa Frank & tell me stories that were really interesting & imaginative. She also used to do the best styles on my hair. We are 6 years apart, so when she was graduating from high school I was barely entering middle school. With that being said, our Relationship grew slowly but surely, within reason. We definitely used to box but that’s what sisters do 😂 & it made me solid. I realized that we have a lot in common. Even now, we’re still trying to get to know each other better. We radiate the same energy & we want to make sure that others feel supported & included at all times. I love you! #LETSGO 🎉

We met at a mutual friend's home! I remember when we met there was this instant connection.. Over the years I've seen her blossom to someone I'm so proud to call my sister. I don't think Nneka will ever understand what she has done for me... it's the little things like coming over to my place to spend time with me & my children, still talking to each other everyday even tho I don't live in Houston anymore, to even clearing her scheduele to show me a good time when I do come back home! I have known Sammie for over a decade now and one thing I have learnt is that Sammie is a genuine friend with a pure heart. I met Nneka in high school, I had the mentality that all these American children were gangstas. During that time, she was even calling herself “Nnekita”, she was definitely an American child. Needless to say, I was steering clear of Nneka. Years down the line, Nneka & Sammie are dating and we crossed paths again. This time, I got to know Nneka. No preconceived notions, no judgments, nothing. Come to find out Nneka is literally one of the sweetest, most considerate person on earth and just masks it behind her gangsta. I’m so glad life happened the way it did and I’m so happy to be here in this moment and in this way. Me and Sammie have crossed path on several occasions, but as a well known guy that he is it was mostly a coincidence. When we actually became friends was through music, his love for music and understanding of it would only draw you closer. But that was just a bridge to knowing an awesome human who always goes out of his way to help others mostly when he has nothing to benefit from it. Sammie is the kind of person that you call at the middle of the night for help and even though he can’t be of help to you, you can bet his definitely loosing sleep because of how bad he feels not being able to help you, that’s how big his heart is and that my n*gga.

I first became friends with Sammie about 5 years ago. My impression of Sammie before actually gettin to know him was church, choir, Bible study, etc. Coming from a home where it was Jesus day & night I wasn’t really sure I needed more of that in my life so needless to say I wasn’t f*king with it..in this life there are 2 types of people, those who pray & wait & those who pray in motion! IYKYK! I also discovered that he is one of the realest, loyal & caring people I know. If Sammie calls you his friend/family he is loving you & cherishing that bond till the end. I found my brother in motion he was just starting his family & I’m glad I was there to start that journey with him. It’s been love ever since & the future is history. I met Sammie shortly after I was born and we lived in the same house for several years. During that time, we did almost everything together. Church, school, church, school... But more than anything we bonded over our love of music. We would spend countless hours sitting in our dad’s car(which had the best sound system we could find) breaking down and analyzing the latest hits since before I even learned how to tie my own shoelaces (it took me a while). The most important lesson I learned is that consistency and devotion to your craft is the key to reaching your full potential. As a father and husband, I know that he will uphold these as family values and I am excited to see it all unfold before our eyes.

I met Sammie through soccer. He had a style of playin that I really liked that almost mimicked mine. I kne he always wanted to play like me lol. He is also a very supportive &critical friend. He encouraged me one time to go into music production & when I showed my work he told me I should find something else & that this is not for me lmao. Nneka was always extra/excited about everything & I loved it lol. She has always had a huge heart & still does, while also not taking shit from no one. She manifested Sammie into her life I swear. She had this crush on this boy for some reason. When I heard they were together, I was so happy for them because I knew how much it meant to her. “I want to be like you guys when I grow up” because with ya'll I see love, grace & responsibility for each other.

I met Sammie at Texas southern university, the computer lab to be exact. We became close friends through our mutual love for soccer & people. I’m a Kogi man like my brother Sammie & I think that was the only reason why I was chosen. (Jokes) In a more serious note they fell In love, at my apt in Nubia square (if you know you know) People always made fun of that place but I like to remind them that we are here today because of that place! There were times I was down & Sammie was there to pick me up, we have done business together, played together & grown together. Nneka has snagged her a real high value man. I’ve watched them compliment each other & become this amazing unit. For the rest of us here I say we should all try to find our Sammie or our Nneka!

I Honestly don’t remember the exact moment I met Sammie, but I was during our college days. We had a lot of mutual friends and he just would pop up more often.
