Welcome to the beginning of our forever

Sammi and Michael met in high school in 2011 and instantly became best friends. They spent a lot of time together that school year and throughout the summer of 2012 until Michael went to college. The two rekindled their love two years later when Sammi was a senior in high school and started dating a month before Michael took her to her Senior Prom. They spent the next four years of their relationship long-distance, traveling back and forth between Stony Brook, Towson, and Nashville. They did whatever it took to make sure they saw each other often. After graduating college, Michael made the decision to move to Nashville and Sammi followed after him two years later after she graduated. Just a few months before entering a global pandemic, the two closed on their first home together in Brentwood, TN. Spending every minute quarantined together only made their love grow stronger. In June 2020, Michael and Sammi drove to Jacksonville for what Sammi thought was a vacation that they desperately needed. Michael had told her that he had a romantic beach walk planned before their dinner reservations. As they walked along the beach, Michael got down on one knee and asked Sammi to marry him! She said yes, they enjoyed a few more days in Florida, and then came home with Covid! Being quarantined once again after their Florida vacation and taking care of each other “in sickness and in health” proved all the more they were meant to be together. The future Mr. and Mrs. are so excited to spend the rest of forever together making countless memories. They are counting the days that they can celebrate their love surrounded by all of their friends and family!
