We're Getting Married!

We met just like any other couple: at work. Samm had started her 911 Center career in January 2022 and when she went to the call floor she found out her secondary trainer was the one and only Frank Adams. She thought he was cute with a bunch of weird tattoos. He thought she was "cute as hell", funny and a dork. They sat together, him watching over her as her training continued but neither made a move towards each other. Frank was in a relationship and Samm was his trainee. They continued to be friends on the call floor until Samm left the center in July 2022. She went on to work for AACPS as a substitute teacher and Frank continued on training future dispatchers. They reconnected in August of 2023 when Frank wondered what that dorky woman had be up too. He sent her a facebook friend request at 3am (thanks nightshift) and she responded a few days later. They messaged each other for a few weeks until Frank got the courage up to ask her out. He thought she "ghosted" him in reality she was dealing with a migraine and was sleeping. They continued messaging when he got the nerve up a second time to ask her out for drinks. She said yes. They met up on 9/11 at a beach bar in Essex and talked for over 5 hours. They continued texting until October when they went out on their second date: mini golf and drinks. They really hit it off. Frank says that he knew she was the one after the first date but her falling out of her own jeep on their second date confirmed it. He made her laugh and he was kind and polite. Then the second week of October, Samm was struck down with covid and strep throat. She was sick for a month straight... Frank once again thought she was "ghosting" him by canceling their third date when in reality she was dying on the couch. She returned home from her second doctor's appointment that month to the most beautiful flowers. Once she recovered and enough time passed that Samm felt that she could be around Frank without getting him sick, their third date (movies & chinese food at Franks) happened. That night he asked her to be his girlfriend. Every other weekend she would spend up in Bel Air (Franks schedule) and he would drive down to Glen Burnie for date nights. In December 2024, Samm finally moved up to Bel Air and in with Frank and his dog. On January 12, 2025, Frank, Samm, Edgar and their two friends: Jordan and Kevin, all went for a hike at Kilgore Falls. It had snowed the night before making for an amazing and beautiful hike. As Samm, Frank & Edgar got close to the falls, Samm noticed Kevin and Jordan hanging back. She thought maybe they didn't want to risk falling in the water. The next thing she knows, Frank is pulling her close to tell her that he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He drops down on one knee and asks her to marry him. Of course she said "YES!" and on their 14 month dating anniversary, they were engaged.
