Our story began in the summer of 2009, at a pick-up soccer game in Bolton, CT. We spent the rest of that summer talking through Facebook, until school started. We started spending a lot of time together, while all our friends started to realize that our friendship was a bit more than just that. After a few too many months, I finally built up the courage to ask Liv out after school one day while we waited for basketball practice, and it was that day in February when I became the luckiest guy in the world after Liv answered yes. Our times in the school hallways turned in to our parents driving us back and forth from each other’s, four years at the University of Connecticut, and then moving in together. Almost 8 years later, I began to realize that it was time for me to ask Liv another question. As Liv pursued her doctorate in Atlanta, I started to plan the proposal. Spending so much time apart wasn’t easy for either of us, but it was clear that absence made the heart grow fonder. In November of 2017, after a hike to the top of a mountain, Liv would answer yes again when I asked her to marry me. All those years of memories later, and we find ourselves getting ready for what will be the most special day of our lives. We can't wait for you all to join us!
