Travel Note
Our wedding happens to fall on a classic DC weekend. It is the President’s 80th birthday celebrations and likely the White House UFC event. Classic DC. In other words, the city will be lively and hotels will book quickly. We highly recommend reserving your travel and accommodations as early as possible to ensure the best options. We will post room blocks and recommendations in January.
Flight
If you’re flying in for the wedding, we recommend booking your flight into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). It’s the closest option to the city and only about a 15-minute Uber ride from downtown DC. You can also fly into Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), though it’s farther out and typically about a 40-minute drive into the city.
Train
For guests coming from New York City, taking the Amtrak to Union Station is a convenient option. The ride typically takes about 3 to 3.5 hours, and Union Station is located right in the heart of DC.
