🌆 Our KL Hit List From tasty bites to places we love hanging out—you’ve gotta check these out!
KLCC Park

KLCC Park

Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur 50450, Malaysia

🌿 Morning Stroll, Brunch & Chill Vibes Start your morning with a stroll through KLCC Park—and if you're up early, join the free yoga sessions at 7:30 AM on weekends (near the fountain area, just bring a mat!). After that, treat yourself to brunch at Kenny Hills Bistro at Four Seasons KL. Feeling something else? Try the halal Din Tai Fung (KLCC or TRX only) for their famous Xiao Long Bao, or go for local flavors at Madam Kwan or Oriental Kopi. 😋 And don’t miss the KLCC Lake Symphony light & fountain show in the evening—it’s beautiful! ⏰ Showtimes: 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:00 PM, 9:30 PM & 10:00 PM

MTR 1924

MTR 1924

69 Jalan Thambipillay, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur 50470, Malaysia

MTR 1924 is our go-to for the best dosa in town — and a little extra special to us because it’s where we had our second date! 🥰 If you’re here for the food (and you should be), don’t miss it. While you’re in the area, take a stroll through Brickfields (KL’s Little India) — perfect for exploring and picking up a vibrant outfit for Mehndi night if you haven’t already! 💃🌸

Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam

Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam

1 Jalan Balai Polis, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur 50000, Malaysia

Don’t miss the kaya toast, soft boiled eggs, and white coffee—it’s a classic! For an authentic touch, sprinkle some white pepper and soy sauce on the eggs, then dip the toast right in. Trust us, it’s so good! 😋 Since you’re in the area, explore Chinatown and visit the Central Market for some Malaysian snacks. And don’t miss out on a refreshing soybean drink at Chinatown Market! 🥤🛍️

Perdana Botanical Gardens

Perdana Botanical Gardens

Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

🌳 Escape the Malls – A Day Trip Outside KL If you’re tired of the malls, head over to Perdana Botanical Gardens for a peaceful stroll! It’s only about 15 minutes from the city center, and you’ll love the lush greenery. Afterward, swing by Village Park for some of the best nasi lemak in town. The crispy fried chicken and fragrant coconut rice are definitely worth it! 🍚🍗 Still got room for dessert? Head to Makan Time for an amazing cendol! It’s a must-try, but be quick—it closes at 2:30 PM!

Eating Around Bukit Bintang 🍜

Eating Around Bukit Bintang 🍜

Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Not sure what to eat in Bukit Bintang? Don’t worry — here are a few of our go-to spots, depending on our mood swings 😅: When we’re both indecisive, we head to the Pavilion food court — it has everything! From Pepper Lunch to Mee Tarik (Chinese hand-pulled noodles), beef roti, and other international eats. Safe bet, always. Feeling extra hungry? It’s Suki-ya time — all-you-can-eat hotpot goodness. And yes, we usually end it with a sweet cup of llaollao, the Malaysian version of Pinkberry. Want to explore? Walk over to Jalan Alor, a famous food street packed with local and international dishes. In a rush? Just grab a Damascus or Halab shawarma/kebab — quick, tasty, and hits the spot every time.

Eats Around the Wedding Venue 🍴

Eats Around the Wedding Venue 🍴

Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Looking for a bite before or after the celebration? Here are some tasty spots nearby: Kung Jung Restaurant – A great Korean BBQ place run by a real ahjumma! The food is authentic and the kimchi is seriously good. Mamak Stalls – Found all over KL, these local gems are perfect for a casual meal. Be sure to try roti canai — crispy, flaky, and buttery — best enjoyed with a classic Teh Tarik. Bungkus Kaw – For a bold and flavorful cup of Teh Tarik, this is the place. It’s easy to find all over town. Tip: Prefer something cold? Just ask for Teh Ais. Nyonya Colours – In the mood for dessert? This spot has all the Malaysian favorites. If you love coconut, you’re in for a treat — many of the desserts are rich, creamy, and coconut-filled!
