Our story began, when we were just 14, on the first day of freshman year at Covington High School. From the start, we kept crossing paths; in the halls, the lunchroom, and in nearly half of our classes. We both had a great first impression of each other, and having so many classes together quickly turned us into close friends. As the months passed and winter settled in, our bond deepened. We genuinely enjoyed each other’s company and slowly began to realize that maybe this was more than just friendship. On the last day of the semester right before Christmas break, Luis made the first move. He asked Samira for her phone number claiming he only wanted to play "8-ball," but his intentions were a little more heartfelt. Samira, already aware of the true motive, gladly shared her number. We texted non-stop over winter break, moving into what you might call the “talking stage.” Then, on January 31, 2019, Luis officially asked Samira to be his girlfriend and the rest is history. Six years later, we’ve shared countless milestones and unforgettable moments. On July 28, 2024, Luis popped the question, and now, we’re counting down the days until we say “I do.” We’re so excited to celebrate March 28th with all of you and begin the next chapter of our love story, officially making it our forever anniversary.
