Traveling from the U.S. to Bolivia! There are no direct flights from the United States to Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Most travelers will fly from their nearest major U.S. city (SFO, LAX, etc.) to a major international hub—Miami or Bogotá, Colombia—and then take a connecting flight to Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Viru Viru International Airport). Bogotá is often the most affordable option, while Miami offers the most frequent and straightforward connections. Regarding airlines from the hub to Bolivia, there are four options: Copa, LATAM, BOA, and Avianca. Samira's family has made use of all Airline options, depending on pricing and scheduling.
