We met at a dog park in Salt Lake City, UT. After talking for a little, him admiring me and me admiring him, he finally gave me his number. I waited a little so I didn’t seem desperate.. but once I text him to meet me at the dog park again apparently he turned his car around so fast and rushed to get there that he made his dog throw up in the car.. seems like we were on the same page.
There is nothing better than Easter Sunday on the Marriott Ranch riding around in old beat up jeeps off roading. Well, that’s exactly what I thought we were doing until Kyle decided to make a unique turn. Up the hillside, through some cow pies, parks the jeep, and hops out. He grabs my hand and then “Kyle, there’s a bear!” He smiles and keeps walking. I curiously and anxiously hesitate to walk towards a bear sleeping! I caught on at that moment. A beautiful bear rug on the hillsides of the Marriott Ranch. We settled on the rug, his hands are sweating, and I’m in shock. Down he goes on one knee and of course I said YES! I actually grabbed the ring before saying yes. kyle says “I guess that means yes..??” My family was hiding behind a rock and captured the moment perfectly.
