Fly into Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport (BLR). We will provide the logistics manager with the phone number of a person from your group they can arrange a pick-up for you from the airport via WhatsApp. Please install and set-up the app prior to your arrival.

Mysore has Uber / Ola app and local transportation. If you have no prior experience driving in India (right hand driving), we don't recommend renting a car.
Major credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and stores. However, smaller shops and street vendors may only accept cash. You should carry some USD cash to exchange money at the airport. Please make sure to activate international roaming on credit-cards to avoid fraudulent transaction issues.

Tap water is safe, though to ensure a safe and healthy trip for all, we would recommend avoiding tap water. Use bottled water for drinking and brushing your teeth.
Street food is delicious, but we would advise you to avoid street food unless it is served hot and cooked thoroughly.
Clothes: It will be very hot in May, so we recommend light, comfortable clothing and shoes for your travels. If you are visiting a religious or historical site, please dress more modestly. Sun Protection: Long-sleeve shirts are recommended if you are prone to sunburn. We definitely recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing a hat to protect from the sun. Bug repellent: Mosquitoes can be an issue in the early mornings and evenings. Use bug spray and bringing some soothing in case you get mosquito bites. Basic medications: Bring standard pain killers (Tylenol, Advil, etc), stomach medications (imodium, pepto-bismol, etc), and allergy medication, if needed. Power Adapters: For India there are three associated plug types, types C, D and M. India operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz. Pick up an adapter prior to travel; they're expensive at airports. Cash: Bring some cash to exchange for INR.
