Sami and Vince first met almost a decade ago. At that time they were both in very different places in life and both needed to do some soul searching before they would be ready for forever. One New Years Eve many many years later, a text would change both their lives forever! That year they were both celebrating differently. Vince was hanging out with his best friend Matt, who coincidently was Sami's cousin and Sami spent the evening playing board games with family. She was asleep by 12:05am. Vince sent a text that didn't get a response until the following morning. Who knew a cheesy pickup line would lead to a life together that they have both hoped for. From the very start of their long-distance relationship, they both knew this was something special. Even though a 3 1/2 hour drive stood between them they were happy to make the drive almost every weekend. Vince was able to experience new things and new cuisine when he would visit Sami in Denver and Sami was able to see her family and eat Runza every time she went back to Nebraska to visit Vince. Many movies were watched, appetizers shared and time spent getting to know each other better over a short period of time. They made up their minds that they were each other's people and this is how it would go on for the rest of their years to come. You could say their relationship was the definition of whirlwind romance. Now to the best part of their story..... Noah! Sami and Vince welcomed their precious baby boy in February of 2023. Noah has helped complete their family and bring them closer together. He has brought so much joy to their lives, as well as their family's and friend's. There is no doubt Mr. Noah will be as celebrated on the special day along with his parents. Now the family calls Nebraska home. They are surrounded by Grandpas, Nanas, Papas, Aunties, Uncles, Funcles and many cousins! However, they cannot let a lot of time pass before heading back to the Rocky Mountains to visit even more Aunts, Uncles and cousins! They are looking forward to spending this day with all the people they love so much and are thankful so many are willing to travel to be here!
