As of right now, our wedding is going forward as planned! We are following the guidelines laid out by the state of South Carolina and all of our wonderful vendors have gone above and beyond taking the necessary precautions so their staff and our guests stay safe and healthy. Even so, we completely understand that some guests might not feel comfortable traveling or celebrating with us in person. Your safety and your family's safety is of the utmost importance and if for that reason you are unable to attend our wedding, we completely support your decision. Tyler and Sami lived across the hall from one another in the famous Arlington, VA apartment complex, Ballston Court. Whether it was fate, divine intervention, or laziness that brought them together, it's hard to say... but look at them now!! Shout out to Coby Owens, Ballston Court’s property manager, for playing cupid. When asked for comment, Coby said, ‘Might put out a new marketing slogan......."Ballston Court - where you can find your true love!!"’

Tyler and Sami decided to take a vacation to Charleston, SC. After a day at the beach and before a dinner reservation, Tyler asked Sami to get ready early to take a walk in Battery Park along the water. As the sun was setting he suggested they go up to the park’s gazebo where he got down on one knee and proposed! (Look at the top of this page to check out the aforementioned gazebo!)
