Wedding Party

Abigail Leigh Drown

Maid of Honor

Miss Abigail is currently living out in Colorado. We met through mutual friends when I started attending River Valley Church in Minneapolis. She is one of a kind and she has been through it with me. She is my encourager, my rock, she speaks truth into my life always and she is my best friend. She has been a huge cheerleader and encourager of my relationship with Paul and I can't imagine this day without her! She is working in Denver, Co at Messanger International.

Joey Sonnenfeld

Best Man

I met Joey in Elementary School and we became close when we played on the same basketball team. Joey was in charge of putting the ball in the basket, and I was in charge of harassing their top shooter. We graduated from High School together, headed north to N.D. for college, and both found our way back to the Twin Cities. Simply put, Joey has always been one of my closest friends. This kid is the top new P.E. teacher in Minnesota.

Oscar Huerta

Father of the Bride

Oscar Huerta is my father and biggest role model. Oscar is husband to Cathi Huerta and is father to 5 children, Gabriella Llewellyn, Micaela Niconchuk, Esteban Huerta and Abe Huerta, in addition to myself. Our wedding day is about Paul and I, yes, but more importantly we want to honor my father and mother for all they have poured into our lives. He has always been the most loving, caring, and involved father, from acting out the bible during family devotions to wiping my tears after high school break ups. I love him more than life and I'm so grateful to him for all he does!

Keith Weaver

Father of the Groom

Ever since I can remember, my dad has been my biggest cheerleader and supporter. He is someone I truly aspire to be like in every way. When I was trying to figure out what I should do with my life, my dad always pushed me to chase my passions. His love, his compassion, and his genuine character is something that I admire. Watching the way my dad has loved my mom, supported his family, and has been a leader in my family, has truly influenced the man of God I am today.

Cathi Huerta

Mother of the Bride

Cathi Huerta, my mother and role model. Cathi is mother to five children (including myself) and she is a warrior. She raised us for 10 years in Uzbekistan as my parents planted churches. 13 years later, Cathi is still passionate about people and gives her life to serve others. She works as a bookkeeper and accountant at her own company. She is driven and strong but soft and tender. She is my biggest encourager in life and always pushes me to be my best. I admire her more than words could ever say. I feel so lucky to call this woman my mother!

Amy Weaver

Mother of the Groom

My mom is the most selfless person in the world. She has taught me how to be a light to others, be a leader, and stand up for what I believe in. From a young age, I've watched her give everything she has for others. There are no words to describe the impact that this woman has made not only in my life, but other people's lives. There is nothing that will measure up to the example that she has been for me. I am the luckiest son in the world to call her my mother, and I love her endlessly.

Micaela Niconchuk

Bridesmaid

Sweet, caring and always punctual, Micaela. I couldn't be more proud to call her my big sister. She is one of the smartest, most practical and intentional women I've ever met. From the moment she moved off to Boston for college I knew she would do something incredible with her life. She is married to her caring husband, Jon Niconchuk. They also live in Nashville where Jon is finishing his residency to be an anesthesiologist in pediatrics and Micaela is working as a business analyst.

Chad Weaver

Groomsman

Everybody should have a little brother like Chad. It's not really fair to call him my "little brother" anymore. When he's not hitting the books at ISU, he's in the gym. Chad's heart is as big as his smile. I'm lucky to be able to call him a brother and a friend. This kid has big plans for his future.

Gabriella Llewellyn

Bridesmaid

I'm lucky to call my eldest sister, Gabriella, one of my closest friends and role models. She has been the voice of reason in my life. Her gentle encouragement and wisdom has pushed me to where I am today. She is wife to her wonderful husband, Chris Llwellyn and newly mother to her first born son, Daniel Lion Llewellyn. They live in Nashville, TN where Chris works as the lead vocalist in a band and Gabriella does their marketing and PR.

Cory Weaver

Groomsman

Everybody should have a big brother like Cory. Cory has set the bar high, and has been a good role model. I know I can always count on Cory for good advice. Four years ago, he married his amazing wife Casey, and they will make me an Uncle in December! This kid sure knows how to lead a God-centered life.

Michaela Bunke

Bridesmaid

My Bunke. This girl has been my best friend and roommate since sophomore year of college, my first year at the University of Minnesota. Michaela is an intelligent and wise friend with a fierce love for the Lord. She could probably tell me more random facts about dead European theologians than anyone else I know. She is my rock and I don't know who I would be without her.

Shane Benton

Groomsman

I met Shane in the Freshmen dorms at the University of N.D. Years later, we reconnected in the Twin Cities, shared an apartment together, and realized we shared similar interests. Shane's positive energy is undeniable. Shane may be the coolest Iowa transplant in the Twin Cities. This kid enjoys the simple pleasures in life.

Grace Riley

Bridesmaid

Gigi. Although our friendship really developed over the last two years, it has grown so much. We met at River Valley Church in Minneapolis shortly after the campus opened. G, is a rare friend and she deeply understands me. Her fascination with the human condition inspires me. We have a mutual love for fashion, beauty, aesthetic and all things Hadid. She's wildly intentional and secure in who she is. She works at Target Corporate and loves relationship building.

Nick Sandish

Groomsman

Our relationship goes WAYYYYY back. I met Nick in Elementary School. We later played basketball, and came to realize that we had both moved to Maple Grove from Maryland around the same time, and were both delivered by the same doctor. We were destined to be friends, no doubt! We went to High School together and then went to University of North Dakota for college. We started a clothing company, and have been collaborating on projects ever since. This kid has mad design skills.

Rachel Mathison

Bridesmaid

Rachel and I also met at River Valley Church, Mpls. Rachel is a hair and makeup artist. We bumped paths a few times on sets here and there but it wasn't until later that we became close. Rachel was also very close with my best friends Abby Drown & Grace Riley, and it wasn't long before we became close friends as well. Rachel is someone I trust so deeply! I was drawn to her passionate heart for the Lord and her fun loving personality. She is the most gentle and sincere woman I know! We both share the same love for cozy nights & making things beautiful.

Antonio Sundquist

Groomsman

Our similar interests in entrepreneurship, and "thinking big", brought us together two years ago. Ever since we met, I was drawn to his love for others, kind heart, and vibrant energy. We now work together on numerous projects, and are looking to make an impact in the digital industry. This kid sure knows how to dress.

Samantha Maijer

Bridesmaid

Samantha and I go waaay back. We met in 6th grade gym class. Samantha and I both pursued different things in high school, Samantha with hockey & I with dance, but we always remained close. As college came around we continued to keep in touch as she would fly home for weekends and I would go out to visit her in Chicago. Today, Samantha still lives in Chicago, working full time, and we still have remained close. Samantha is a friend I've always admired so deeply. She's someone who knows what she wants and is never afraid to go out and chase it! She's one of my closest lifetime friends and she has been through alot with me. I love this woman so much and don't know who I would be without her!

Johnny Paphatsalang

Groomsman

I met Johnny in the hallway the first day of High School. We later bonded in the student section at football games. I think we were the loudest ones in the stadium, every game. Johnny tagged along on a college visit to N.D. where we both ended up going. After going the distance at N.D., Johnny returned to the Twin Cities after graduation, where we reconnected. This kid has a killer smile.
