Key Guidelines for Hindu Wedding Guests
Please wear traditional Indian or Nepali attire. Women are encouraged to wear sarees, lenghas, or salwar kameez in bright, festive colors such as orange, yellow, pink, or gold. Men may wear a kurta-pajama, sherwani, or a button-down with a suit and dress pants. As this is a sacred and formal ceremony, please ensure that legs and cleavage are covered — no short skirts, shorts, jeans, or tank tops. If you choose to wear skirts or dresses, please ensure that it is ankle length. Avoid wearing white or black, as these colors are associated with mourning. Please also note that shoes are removed before entering the ceremony area. Light snacks will be offered from 11am to 11:30am before the ceremony starts and lunch will be provided after the ceremony. Please be on time as the ceremony will start strictly at 11:45am
