Gathering Place

The Gathering Place was voted the country's best city park in 2024! It's big and gorgeous. It has all sorts of very beautifully designed playgrounds, hills, local Oklahoma vegetation, and is on the river. Definitely a must see if you come to Tulsa. Il possède toutes sortes de terrains de jeux très joliment conçus, des collines, de la végétation locale de l'Oklahoma et se trouve au bord de la rivière. C'est vraiment un incontournable si vous venez à Tulsa.

Black Wall Street/Greenwood Rising Museum

Black Wall Street was one of the most successful Black neighborhoods in the US in the 1920s. We highly recommend visiting Black Wall Street and walking around - sadly only a few blocks remain. In the heart of the district is the Greenwood Rising Museum, dedicated to the events of the Tulsa Race Massacre. If you're interested in a 60-90 minute walking tour of Black Wall Street with an excellent tour guide, please reach out. Philbrook Museum of Art

This is where Gawen proposed!!! Sami is known for not liking most museums, but she liked this one even before the proposal. It has a wide variety of art in this giant old mansion, and the gardens and grounds are stunning. C'est là que Gawen a demandé Sami en mariage!!! Sami est connue pour ne pas aimer la plupart des musées, mais elle aimait celui-ci avant même la demande en mariage. LaFortune Park Tennis Center

This is where we play tennis about three times a week. We've met some of our closest Tulsa friends playing tennis here, and it's only a 5 minute drive from our house! You can call ahead and book a court and borrow or rent a racket. Who wants to play?! C'est ici que nous jouons au tennis environ trois fois par semaine. EXCELLENT BAR. They have all the normal cocktails, a bunch of special ones, and they will make you your own drink if you tell them adjectives of what you like (bubbly, fruity, spicy, etc). That's what we usually do. Very cool ambience, and in the heart of the Tulsa Arts District with lots of art galleries and restaurants nearby. UN BAR EXCELLENT. Ils ont tous les cocktails classiques, un tas de cocktails spéciaux, et ils vous prépareront votre propre boisson si vous leur dites des adjectifs de ce que vous aimez (pétillant, fruité, épicé, etc.). C'est ce que nous faisons habituellement. Ambiance très cool et au coeur du quartier des arts de Tulsa avec de nombreuses galeries d'art et restaurants à proximité.

Lone Wolf

Sooooo good. This is Gawen's favorite lunch spot. You order at a counter and they bring it to your table. If they have the pork belly fried rice, get it. The bacon and egg fried rice is bomb. And the kimchi fries are fun. Can't really go wrong, honestly! Tellement bien. C'est l'endroit préféré de Gawen pour déjeuner. Vous commandez au comptoir et ils l'apportent à votre table. S'ils ont du riz frit à la poitrine de porc, prenez-le. Le riz frit au bacon et aux œufs est une bombe. Et les frites de kimchi sont amusantes. Honnêtement, vous ne pouvez pas vraiment vous tromper!

Noche Woodfired Grill & Agave Bar

This place opened last year and just got nominated for a James Beard Award! It has an awesome vibe, great drinks, and DELICIOUS food. Cet endroit a ouvert ses portes l'année dernière et vient d'être nominé pour un James Beard Award ! Il y a une ambiance géniale, d'excellentes boissons et une nourriture DÉLICIEUSE.

Trenchers Delicatessen

A local institution with some of the best sandwiches we've ever had. Randomly also a cocktail bar and open till 1am. Gawen gets The Coolio and Sami gets the Chicken Swizzle (ask them to cut it in half for you). Skip the cookies, they look good but were not. Une institution locale avec certains des meilleurs sandwichs que nous ayons jamais mangés. Aussi un bar à cocktails et ouvert jusqu'à 1h du matin. Gawen prend le Coolio et Sami prend le Chicken Swizzle (demandez-leur de le couper en deux pour vous). Évitez les cookies, ils ont l'air bons mais ne l'étaient pas.
