Though we grew up just a few towns apart, life had its own timing for us. For years, we unknowingly passed by the same landmarks, and perhaps even the same coffee shops, without ever exchanging a word. It wasn’t until medical school, far from the place where our story began, that fate decided it was time. What started as small conversations during long study sessions, slowly grew into something deeper. We discovered not just our shared love for medicine, but for laughter, late-night talks, and the comfort of truly being understood. After all those years of living so close, it took one chance encounter in med school for us to realize that our paths were always meant to cross.
