Where should we stay?

Answer

All wedding events will be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel. We'd love for everyone to stay at the hotel to make it easy to join in all the fun throughout the weekend. We have a block of rooms reserved for our guests at a discounted rate: https://book.passkey.com/go/BansalWedding2025 For guests visiting Chicago for the first time, we recommend extending your stay a few days before or after our wedding to experience the vibrant city of Chicago in its summer glory. There's something for everyone: lakeside beaches, amazing restaurants, architecture tours, and outdoor concerts.

What transportation is available?

Answer

Uber and Lyft are easily available to & from the hotel, and is our recommended transportation. If you're driving, there is plenty of parking available at the hotel. If you need to go to any local stores or restaurants during the weekend, the hotel provides a complementary shuttle anywhere within 3 miles, which you can request at the front entrance. You can also take the Woodfield Trolley to the mall, which picks up from the hotel every 30 minutes.

Is there a dress code?

We've created an attire guide linked below to help you find the perfect outfit for an Indian wedding. Indian attire is warmly welcomed and encouraged for everyone! If you prefer, please feel free to wear your favorite American formal wear, or whatever brings you joy. Most of the events will be indoors, except the Boat Party and Haldi, which will move inside if it rains.
