Lodging - General Info

While we are big fans of Brooklyn, we can't vouch for all of its many neighborhoods. If you are not an experienced urban traveler, please make sure to do your research before booking anything outside of the hotels we've listed. That being said, there are infinite options for lodging - it all depends on your overall weekend game plan. There are no hotels within walking distance of the venue (Honey's), so you should plan to call an Uber/Lyft to and from the event. Because this is NYC, you will be able to hail a car at all hours of the night to take you anywhere in the 5 boroughs. If you are wondering, Sam/Dom and close family will be staying in the following cluster of hotels which are located within a 5 min walk of each other.

There are many options available on Airbnb in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. Please read listings carefully, as in NYC the site is notorious for graying the line between private room and private residence.

Have you guys reserved hotel blocks?

Because there are so many hotel options at different price points and because many people have other friends and family in the NYC area, we have opted not to reserve hotel blocks. We hope that encourages you to customize your lodging to your price point, weekend plans, and taste.

Flight

Laguardia Airport (LGA)

LGA is the airport that is closest and therefore the cheapest Uber/taxi ride to Brooklyn and Manhattan.

John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK)

JFK sits a bit farther out on Long Island, therefore it is a bit more expensive of a car ride compared to LGA when headed to Williamsburg or Manhattan.
