FAQs

If you have any questions that are not listed here, feel free to reach out to Sam or Cat!
Question

Can I stay at camp?

Answer

We would love for you to stay at camp! If we have not already reached out to you about lodging, then you are welcome to stay in the dorm style cabins. These are large rooms with twin size beds - you will need to bring bedding (we'll have some available, let us know). The dorms will cost $45/night per person.

Question

Do I have to stay at camp?

Answer

We completely understand that camp is not everyone's style - if you'd prefer to stay at a hotel, see our Travel and Accommodations page for recommendations.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website by July 1, 2023. If you cannot attend, we completely understand and we'll make sure to catch up separately! If you have not RSVP'd by July 1, 2023 we'll reach out to confirm. Shortly after this date we will need to finalize our headcount with all vendors.

Question

How do we pay for camp lodging?

Answer

When you check in at camp for your room assignment, you can pay by cash or Venmo.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones - however due to capacity we have decided to keep our wedding and reception fairly limited to adults, with the exception of children in our family and bridal party. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specified on your invitation. When you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one designated. Please feel free to check in with us!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

For the Welcome Party and the rest of the weekend, feel free to dress however you feel comfortable - plan for Georgia weather. It should hopefully be nice sunny weather with some humidity (also feel free to bring a swimsuit for the pool or the creek!). For the wedding ceremony and reception, the dress code is cocktail attire - think dresses, suits, etc. The ceremony and reception will be outside in the afternoon and evening. Please also plan for some grass and gravel.

Question

Where is camp located?

Answer

Camp Mikell is only a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Toccoa, where you'll find grocery stores, Starbucks, h/motels, food options, etc. If you forget anything, there's a Walmart and Ingles grocery in town.

Question

What should I do if I have food allergies?

Answer

We have several loved ones who are gluten-free, vegetarian, and/or lactose-free, so we will do our best to provide food options for everyone at each meal. If you have any concerns, please reach out and we can walk you through the menu options.
