Flight
If you are flying to California for the wedding, first of all, THANK YOU! We appreciate everyone traveling, near and far, to be with us throughout this weekend. There are several travel options to consider to get to Tomales, CA. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is about an hour and a half south of Tomales. This is the largest airport in the region and would be a great option for those interested in seeing the Bay Area and Wine Country on your way up north for the weekend festivities. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is also about an hour and a half drive to Tomales. This is another great option for seeing the Bay Area and Wine Country on your way up North. Oakland is a smaller airport than SFO and may not have as many flight options. Santa Rosa Airport (STS) is the smallest airport option and is about 40 minutes north of Tomales. Flights may be somewhat limited and require connections, but it is the closest airport to the festivities.
Hotel
The Sheraton Petaluma will be the central hub for all transportation for our wedding! We will have shuttles running to and from the Sheraton parking lot to the venue. We highly suggest reserving a room at this hotel or at a hotel/rental nearby in Petaluma. Discounted rates start at $279. PETALUMA We encourage guests to stay in Petaluma as transportation has been arranged to and from the wedding venue from the Sheraton Hotel (745 Baywood Drive Petaluma, California). We have a room block at the Sheraton under Sambo-Hardy Wedding with rates starting at $279 per night. Please note there is a 2 night minimum length of stay over these dates (September 20-22, 2019). There are additional hotel options nearby in Petaluma including the Hampton Inn, Metro Hotel & Cafe, Best Western, and Hotel Petaluma. DILLON BEACH Dillon Beach is a beautiful option for accommodations that is close to Tomales. Please be aware that there will not be any transportation arranged to and from Dillon Beach for the wedding and this option requires driving. There is no Uber or Lyft available in this area and cell phone reception is limited.
House Or Rental
There are several rental options available on Airbnb and VRBO in Petaluma, Tomales, and Dillon Beach. We highly suggest booking a rental in Petaluma near the Sheraton Hotel (745 Baywood Dr, Petaluma, CA 94954) as shuttles will be running to and from here to the wedding ceremony and reception venues.
