Matron of Honor

Natasha and I go way back to the womb days, she was my very first and still is my very best friend. She has been around since the beginning, so it’s only fitting that she gets to enjoy all the duties of a Matron of Honor too. You can usually find Natasha covered in small children, tearing up court rooms in Dallas County, or watching Frozen for the 12th time in a row thanks to Everly. Natasha loves Jesus, is the champion of all moms, knows all things adoption law, and is basically a saint. If you see her at the wedding, she will probably be delegating orders to keep things running smoothly, so don’t say hi. Just kidding. If you see her, say hi and ask her anything related to sleep training, how to survive with twins and a toddler, or for a little laugh, ask her what my middle name is.

Everly

Maid of Honor

Let me tell you ‘bout my best friend. Her name is Everly, also lovingly referred to as unicorn treasure cheesecake baby. I waited patiently for Everly to come into existence, and then prepared for 9 months to meet her, and have spent the last 2.5 years doing almost everything she asks. Everly is cute and fun and funny - perhaps a little sassy, but I don’t mind. She calls me Nyanya and has no clue that my name doesn’t sound anything like that. You can usually find her asking my dad to make her eggs, watching Frozen 7 times in a row, or squeezing the twins a little too hard (she always gives them kisses if they cry - so sweet). If you see her at the wedding, say hi and ask her to show you her dance moves because let me tell you, they’re legit.

Kayleigh

Maid of Honor

Kayleigh and I met at Watermark Community Church two years ago while serving at The Porch and we have been the best of friends ever since! She has been a breath of fresh air in our friendship and has always gone above and beyond to help me with anything I need. You can usually find her trying to take me shopping for various things, making Kyle make her sweet tea, or playing with the little ones at my house. She loves Jesus, photography, baked Mac and Cheese, and anything outdoors. If you see her at the wedding, say hi and ask her anything about North Carolina, wakeboarding, or for a little laugh, ask her to say the word “pillow.”

Jennifer

Bridesmaid

Jennifer and I met at Watermark Church and were forced into friendship as co-leaders of our community group! It was okay though, because we actually really like each other and bonded over both being born in July and liking Poodles. You can usually find Jennifer shooting basketballs better than Dirk, somewhere in Norway, or sometimes at Harvard giving speeches (not even kidding). Jennifer loves Jesus, has a PhD in math (aka she’s a genius), gets sunburns in 30 seconds, and is one of the most loyal friends I know. If you see her at the wedding say hi and ask her anything about summer camp, the Mavs, or for a little laugh, ask her to do a math problem.

Kelli

Bridesmaid

Kelli and I met at Baylor and instantaneously bonded over both having golden retriever personalities. Kelli has seen me through all the highs and lows of young adult life and now just plain ole’ adult life, and has earned many crowns in heaven for her patience with my antics and crazy adventures. You can usually find Kelli helping the elderly learn to swallow properly, serving at her church, or eating wine and yummy cheese - perhaps a good day of binge watching Netflix every now and then. Kelli loves Jesus, the Spurs, Australian Shepherds, and all things Austin. If you see her at the wedding say hi and ask her to rap for you (she’s awesome).

Caroline

Bridesmaid

Caroline and I met 3.5 years ago in Community Group at Watermark Church. Caroline is one of the most considerate, understanding, and gracious people I know. She is a wonderful friend and an even better wife (from what Justin tells me). She and her family have always included me in dinners and holidays and everything in between. You can usually find Caroline crushing it at a moderate to hard yoga class, being featured in magazines for her mad decorating skills, or somewhere in Louisiana. Caroline loves Jesus, her husband and family, and LSU. If you see her at the wedding say hi and ask her about how she decorates her Christmas tree for every holiday.

Natalie

Bridesmaid

Natalie had the pleasure of having me as her boss for approximately three years. It took her approximately 3 weeks to get me to share my iPhone location with her and she has been one of my favorite people ever since. Natalie is one of the most servant hearted people I know. She is wise beyond her years and a trusted confidant for many. You can usually find her traveling the country looking for a fun adventure, on mission trips somewhere south of the border, or drinking wine at Italian restaurants. Natalie loves Jesus, stealing my office, bossing me around, and generally all things related to giving me grey hair. If you see her at the wedding, say hi and ask her about her favorite counseling technique, how to travel for cheap, or planning weddings (she’s getting married too soon!).

Ring Bearer

Griffin and Haddon have been the greatest surprise in my life to date. And let me tell you, they were quite the surprise - I just about fainted when my sister FaceTimed me from Napa to inform me of her pregnancy while I chased around her one year old. Griff and Had are my bow tie boys and I’m waiting patiently until they can draw me pictures that don’t look like much of anything but are still cute nonetheless. You can usually find them putting everything they can find in their mouths, chugging a bottle, or getting rocked to sleep by their Nyanya (me). The rocking is done mostly for Had because he doesn’t think sleep is necessary, but Griff wouldn’t turn it down either. If you see them at the wedding, say hi and give them a good squeeze because they can’t talk yet!
