We’re getting married!

Joshua: After years of spending time with Samara I knew that she was the one that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. So began the adventure of the proposal. I ran with some friends to find a ring that I knew she would like, next I had to find the perfect place. I knew she loves the beach and we recently went to Hawaii where she fell in love with the island, so what a better place than a beachside Hawaiian restaurant for our dinner. She had no idea and at one point said, “I feel like you’re going to murder me.” Little did she know that I was going to propose to her on the beachside along with our family. And with this begins our next adventure. Samara: it was Valentine’s Day and this was the first time he didn’t slip and tell me what we were going to do for Valentine’s Day. I was really excited! We had a delicious dinner and I wanted to order dessert but he told me I couldn’t and I was confused because we both loveee dessert. He said we had another stop and on our way there it was really dark and isolated and that’s when I made the joke “ I think you’re going to murder me.” Next thing I know we are in an area of the beach where there’s a sign that says “private property” and I see people in hoodies looking skeptical. At this moment I’m like “ let’s get ouut of here we shouldn’t be here!” Next thing I know he’s in one knee proposing in the middle of a heart made of candles. At this point everything goes blurry and slow motion like a literal movie. And of course I say yes!
