Samara & John

One night Samara’s sister's Jenna came home from a party and said “Samara, I’ve got a guy for you.”

Our first date in June 2021 was a 5 mile and 2,738 ft. hike up the Jackson ski mountain. We stopped halfway up for a beer and homemade soft pretzels, before finally making it to the top. After a gondola ride down and talking at the base of the mountain for hours, our date ended with a first kiss back at the dirt parking lot, where all great Jackson dates start and end. 

Fast forward to July 2022, Johnny planned a camping trip in the Gros Ventre Range. We spent the day fishing, hiking, and exploring the area, Samara enjoying the day with no idea what was to come. At golden hour just before sunset, Johnny got down on one knee and asked Samara to marry him. A million yeses later, followed by homemade cookies and a bottle of scotch, we celebrated under the stars and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
