Semi-Formal/Cocktail/Garden Attire: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits/slacks, cocktail/sun dresses, jumpsuits, etc. Please consider appropriate footwear for soft grass.

Yes, the ceremony and reception both take place at the Hardscrabble Clubhouse.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony is intended to take place outdoors (weather permitting) on the lawn in front of the lake. The cocktail hour and reception will utilize both indoor and outdoor spaces.

What time should I arrive?

Please help us get the party started as scheduled. We recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

If you intend to drive, the Hardscrabble Clubhouse has a free parking lot with approx. 35 parking spaces.

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely! If you have children in your family, each child's name should be listed under the list of guests per family when you RSVP.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free options?
Answer
Yes! We have tried our best to accommodate most, if not all, dietary preferences. Please leave a note about any special dietary requirements or allergies when you RSVP so that we can do our very best to accommodate you.

Is Uber accessible in this city?
Answer
Uber is definitely accessible from the hotels to the venue. However, Ubers are not as reliable after hours from the venue location. To alleviate any stress, we highly recommend booking a car at least 2 days before the wedding. Express RDU Taxi & Towncar is a highly-rated company that you can reserve with ahead of time.
