Back in the dreaded year of Covid, Eric began working at Carestream in May 2020. We worked opposite shifts during Covid to support the business and didn’t officially meet each other until August 2020. I (Sam) ended up leaving carestream for a short hiatus to explore another opportunity in October of 2021. Carestream had reached out which resulted in me returning to Carestream in March 2022. We began working together right away and picked our friendship off right where we left it. We realized how much we had in common and started spending more time outside work together. We decided to take our first date out on the golf course which was full of laughs at each other. Next we introduced the dogs at Greece canal park because obviously if the dogs didn’t get along it wasn’t meant to be, right? We then traveled to Waterloo to watch a coworker perform in his band, when we decided to make it official! Fast forward to October 2023, where we walked the canal in Greece canal park to view the beautiful fall leaves and where Eric popped the question! We then spent the evening celebrating with family and friends. What an adventure it was and continues to be! ❤️
