To make a very long story short, we crossed paths for the first time at the metro station in Union Station in Washington, D.C. Lucas was visiting a friend in Baltimore and had taken the train into D.C. for the day. Samantha was on her way to work in the city on that very same train, they just didn't know it yet. While making our way down to the metro station Samantha only noticed Lucas because he was the only person in Washington, D.C. wearing cowboy boots. We got on the metro four cars apart, never to run into each other again, or so we thought! One train car switch later, Lucas ended up on the same train as Samantha and we both got off at McPherson Square where Sam made the first move. Fast forward two dates and a pandemic later and now we have two puppies that we adore, three kittens and seven chickens! Be it fate or divine intervention, we are so thankful to have found each other among thousands of people who travel through Washington, D.C. every day. We cannot be more excited to have all of our favorite people in one place to help us celebrate our lifetime together! We love you all!!
