Finally is the only word to describe what Curtis felt when Sara Beth invited him over to attend Dancing in the Streets with she, Kevin, Samantha and a group of friends. Kevin had been saying for months that he felt Curtis and Sam would be a good match for each other. To Sara’s credit, she was probably doing everyone a favor by not allowing Curtis to meet Sam in his earlier years, however I digress. Back to May 18, 2019. Finally. Curtis got the chance to formally meet Sam and see if he could create a spark. Sam came out of the room, Oliver ran and hugged Curtis, Curtis politely offered her his last Kona beer. The day followed of Angie’s Grom, Dancing in the Streets, Lemon Bar, Pete’s, delivery D&LP pizza and some pretty awful homemade espresso martinis. Next night, Curtis asked her to a Sunday sushi dinner and since then have been inseparable. Fast forward to March 25, 2022 and it's now official, she said yes! Now to start our forever journey together and can't wait to celebrate with our close friends. And don’t worry, Curtis makes sure they repeat that same day every single year for Dancing in the Streets (even when it was canceled two years in a row).
