We met our very first day of Physical Therapy school in June of 2015. We were assigned to the same lab group for gross anatomy, so we met over a cadaver! We became very fast friends and continued to stay in touch even though we were attending two different campuses at Stony Brook University.

After going on several dates during PT school, we officially became an exclusive couple in April of 2016. We worked really hard during school and graduated together (literally sat right next to each other) with Doctorates of Physical Therapy in June of 2018. We decided to pursue travel PT after starting our careers in NY. We packed up our two cars and traveled to our first contract in Texas! Fast forward 4 years, we traveled to WA and all over CA enjoying plenty of hiking, exploring national parks, skiing, meeting other travelers, and living by the beach. Out of all of our contracts, Santa Barbara was our favorite!

September 2022, we were on vacation in Kauai, HI and enjoying our time exploring and hiking around the beautiful island. We had planned for a "nicer" dinner one evening and as I was getting ready, Jae was being very elusive. Little did I know he was setting up his proposal site on the beach of the resort we were staying at. Jae called me to join him on the beach to take some sunset photos before dinner and there he was standing on the beach with roses in the sand. He got down on one knee under the beautiful palm trees during the most gorgeous sunset!
