Do I need a passport to travel to Aruba?

Answer

Yes. All guests traveling from the United States to Aruba must have a valid, current passport.

What airport is closest to the hotel?

Answer

Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) is the closest airport and is located approximately 15-20 minutes from Riu Palace Aruba.

How do I book my flight?

Answer

Guests are kindly asked to make their own flight arrangements based on their personal travel plans. We recommend booking flights early for the best availability and pricing.

How will guests get from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Once flight details are collected, Lucy will assist with coordinating airport transportation. Additional information will be shared closer to the wedding date.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Elegant Beach / Resort Formal Soft neutrals, tropical tones, and light fabrics are encouraged. Think linen shirts and dress pants for men, and flowy, cocktail-length, or maxi dresses for women. Our ceremony and reception will take place on the beach. We recommend comfortable, beach-friendly footwear. Please refrain from wearing white!

Can I bring a date?

To keep our celebration intimate, we are unable to accommodate additional plus-ones. Your formal wedding invitation will indicate your guest count.

What should I pack?

Answer

We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable sandals, and dressier outfits for wedding events.

Will there be other wedding-related events?

Yes! We are planning additional celebrations throughout the weekend. More details will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Answer

Yes! Riu Palace Aruba is an all-inclusive resort. Your stay includes meals, drinks, entertainment, and access to most resort amenities.

Can I extend my stay?

Absolutely! Guests are welcome to arrive early or stay longer. Please coordinate extended dates directly with Lucy (details on booking tab).

Aruba is warm, sunny, and beautiful year-round, with temperatures in the low to mid-80s. Being outside the main hurricane belt makes it a perfect place for our celebration.

We recommend arriving at least 20–30 minutes early to allow time for seating and photos.

Will the ceremony be phone-free?

We kindly request an unplugged, phone-free ceremony so everyone can be fully present and enjoy this special moment with us. We promise there will be plenty of time to take photos and videos afterward, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!
