We're getting married!!!

Our story began in the simplest and sweetest way. Triston had a cool car, and my brother wanted to see it. I came outside to look as well without thinking much of it, but when I saw Triston for the first time, something in me paused. I thought he was cute right away. It still makes me laugh that we went to the same high school and somehow never crossed paths until God decided the moment was right. At the time someone else was interested in him, so I kept my thoughts quiet, but God had already started weaving something beautiful between us. When we first started hanging out, I couldn’t help myself. I told my mom I thought he was cute, and she went ahead and told Triston for me. It felt like something straight out of middle school, but in the sweetest way. Looking back, it feels like God used even those tiny moments to guide our hearts toward each other. Everything truly shifted one night when we went to a youth event together with my brother and some friends. On the way home we laughed, talked, and enjoyed every minute. That night felt effortless, and it felt covered in peace. That was the moment when things clicked for both of us. It was as if God quietly whispered that something meaningful was beginning. Triston eventually asked me out, and I said no at first. Two months later my heart kept nudging me, and I knew I had made the wrong choice. When he asked again, the answer was yes. We officially became a couple on April 2, 2023, a day we look back on with so much gratitude because it was the start of the life God planned for us. Only a few months later on July 22, 2023, Triston gave me a promise ring. He did it at my favorite place, and he made the entire moment feel magical. The way he planned it, the way he looked at me, the way the moment seemed wrapped in God’s presence made it unforgettable. It felt like a promise not just between the two of us, but a promise our hearts made with God at the center. As time passed, our love grew deeper, steadier, and more rooted in faith. We saw God work in our relationship again and again. He opened doors, healed places in both of us, brought us closer, and showed us what love looks like when He is guiding every step. Then came November 1, 2025. We planned to visit the 70 foot waterfall at South Mountain for a fun day together, but when we arrived it was closed. Instead of turning back, we found a smaller waterfall nearby and decided to walk to it. None of us knew it, but God had already chosen that spot for one of the most important moments of our lives. We spent some time exploring and taking pictures together. After we finished, I started to walk away, but Triston gently pulled me back. In that moment everything became quiet. He gave me the most beautiful speech, full of love and emotion, and then he dropped to one knee. The world around us faded, and it was just us and the presence of God surrounding that moment. I said yes to the man I prayed for, the man God brought into my life in His perfect timing. From a cool car to a magical promise ring to a waterfall proposal, our story is full of little surprises and big blessings. More than anything, it is a story written by God. He took two people who walked the same hallways for years without noticing each other and brought them together exactly when the time was right. And now He is guiding us into forever.
