Main Street, Keene

Main Street, Keene

Main Street, Keene, NH 03431

Keene's main street has several restaurants, coffee places and bars! The bride spent a lot of time here with her best friend (who attended Keene state) and recommends Luca's Mediterranean Cafe, Brewbakers, and Cobblestones (for a late night college bar vibe).

Brewbakers Café

97 Main Street, Keene, NH 03431
, (603) 355-4844

Get the almond croissant, you won't be disappointed.

Miller State Park

13 Miller Park Road, Peterborough, NH 03458
, (603) 924-3672

For those looking for a some scenic fun, Miller State Park is a great place to go relax and/or hike. Located on the 2,290-foot summit and flank of Pack Monadnock in Peterborough, Miller is the oldest state park in New Hampshire. A winding 1.3-mile paved road leading to the scenic summit is open for visitors to drive in summer and on spring and fall weekends. Picnicking and hiking are popular activities at the scenic mountain park.

Monadnock State Park

116 Poole Rd, Jaffrey, NH 03452
, (603) 532-8862

If you have time to fit in a full hike, we recommend Mt. Monadnock! There are forty miles of clearly marked foot trails, many of which lead to the bare rock summit through unique alpine vegetation. Unsurpassed 100 mile views to points in all six New England states are the reward for a climb. A magnet for hikers, Monadnock is said to be the second most frequently climbed mountain in the world.

Greenfield State Park

973 Forest Road, Greenfield, NH 03047
, (603) 547-3497

Another scenic destination! The park offers opportunities to swim, fish, walk, canoe, camp and picnic in a variety of settings. Walking paths lead to ponds and other points of interest in the park.
