Aloha! We’re eloping to Hawaii to say ‘I do’. Come if you can, or celebrate us from afar—we’re just happy to have you in our circle! 🌴💍

FAQs

Question

what should we expect?

Answer

This is a very small, relaxed, and informal celebration with our closest family and friends. There are no formal expectations. There is no rehearsal, no traditional reception, and nothing overly structured. We’ll be gathering at sunrise on Palauea Beach to get married in a simple, meaningful ceremony. After that, we’re looking forward to spending the rest of the week enjoying Maui, relaxing, and exploring the island together in a casual and flexible way. Anything beyond the ceremony is completely optional, and we’ll coordinate group plans as we go!

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early since sunrise timing is exact and parking/walking on sand can take time.

Question

Is there parking at Palauea Beach?

Answer

Roadside parking is on Makena Road, typically near the southern end. Parking can be limited during busy periods, so it is recommended to visit early. Ensure your vehicle is entirely off the road, not blocking any private drives or mailboxes.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in light, breathable fabrics in soft or tropical tones. Please wear shoes suitable for sand. Think: barefoot-friendly, beach formal — elevated yet relaxed.

Question

When should I RSVP by?
