Question

When is the RSVP deadline for all events?

Answer

September 17, 2026

Question

Are there any travel arrangements?

Answer

Yes! For the hotel block and closest airpots to fly into, please visit the website's travel tab located at the top of the page for more info.

Question

What is the timeline of wedding day events?

Answer

Please check out the wedding weekend schedule tab located on top of the website. We have the ceremony and reception at The Riverhouse At Goodspeed Station, but the after party and Sunday brunch are at the Inn At Middletown hotel block.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our ceremony and reception. Dress code is black tie optional, but make sure it’s still comfortable to dance in! For ladies: A floor-length formal gown, an elegant ankle- or midi-length cocktail dress, or a sophisticated dressy pantsuit. For gentlemen: A tuxedo or a well-tailored suit paired with a dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

The most important thing to us is that you’re able to come and celebrate our wedding. If you wish to honour us with a gift, we would graciously accept a contribution towards our future life together. There will be a wedding card box at the venue, but please check out the registry tab on top of the website if like to send a gift for our future home. Please share who we could say thank you to when it arrives!

Question

What colors are the wedding party wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories and creams. Bridesmaids are wearing navy blue dresses with groomsmen in matching navy blue tuxedos. The flower girls and floral arrangements are a dark purplish/pink mauve color. The venue decorations are champagne gold. The mother of the bride dress is gold.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or extra guest?

Answer

Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name & Guest Name)” if a plus one has been given to you. We would like to keep the guest list to those who know us well with respect to spouses, engagements and long term relationships. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation, so additional guests not listed cannot be accommodated. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Is this a kid-friendly and pet-friendly wedding?

Answer

There will be no pets at the wedding. We love and adore your kiddos, however we have decided to keep our event to those listed on the invitation. We encourage you to use this time as a fun date night; we appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us. For children in the family who are invited, there will be a designated area with babysitters supervising kid-friendly activities during the reception.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The reception's open bar will be available as soon as cocktail hour starts and our signature drinks are Mint To Be Mojitos & The Blackberry Bourbon Smash. We do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered. We kindly ask you to be patient and respect our bartenders.

Question

Can I take pictures at the wedding and post on social media?

Answer

Please silence or turn off your phones during the ceremony as it is an unplugged event and we kindly ask for phones not to be in sight. Please feel free to post pictures and videos of the cocktail hour and reception! We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The New England late fall season ranges in the 40s and 50s for temperatures. We recommend a jacket for the outdoor covered ceremony, but the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors. The wedding will continue rain, snow or sunshine. When you arrive, please feel free to mingle in the lobby to stay warm until everyone is asked to be seated for the ceremony. The venue has a coat check.

Question

Is smoking/vaping allowed?

Answer

The wedding venue has designated smoking areas outside on the ceremony patio and in front of the main entrance by the parking lot. There is no smoking/vaping allowed inside or on the back deck.
