Question

Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?

Yes, Both will be in the same location.

Question

Parking and Ceremony arrival

Answer

Parking will be clearly indicated when you arrive to the venue. Parking will take place in an upper field and there will be private shuttle service down to the ceremony site. While we have done our best to ensure that this will be a smooth transition for all of our guest, please allow an additional 30 minutes to get down to our ceremony site. We will start promptly at 3pm. Shuttle service will be present through the duration of our wedding but will end promptly at 11 PM. We kindly ask you plan accordingly.

Answer

While we are not following any specific theme or color coordination, we do request semi-formal attire. Note: Our wedding will be outdoors for the duration of the night, a light jacket is recommended for the evening. We also highly recommended that woman would consider what footwear they will select. The grounds will possess, uneven terrain. We suggest to our guests wearing heels, wear small wedges or block heels for your safety. While Our venue will be treated prior, we advise against heavy perfumes since we will be outdoors waterfront during the summer months. Again, this is only a recommendation and you may of course choose to use your own discretion.

Are children invited?

While we love your children, only the children of our immediate family will be present due to venue restrictions. We appreciate you making childcare arrangements ahead of time to celebrate this special day with us!

What do I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Of course you will be missed! But we understand the chaos of juggling many of life’s events. Please fill in your RSVP as ‘cannot attend’ for each particular guest as soon as you can. It will be super helpful for us when meeting catering and seating alterations deadlines.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Our venue as it currently stands is accessible for guest who require the use of a wheelchair. Please be advised, weather will significantly impact accessibility as the ground could become soft and non-manageable. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Samantha directly.

Are you having an unplugged wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. We appreciate our guests understanding that we have thoroughly taken the time to consult and retain a photographer who meets the vision of our photography needs for the day. We also understand that our guest enjoy having personal photos on their phones. Therefore, at the end of our ceremony, our officiant will announce a moment in time our guests can capture the moment on your personal devices before putting them away again. We invite you to take as many photos and videos through the duration of our cocktail hour and reception! We will have scan codes where you can upload all your memories. We can’t wait to get our guest perspective of our evening and any special messages you’d like to send us!

Will there be open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing open bar for our guests. Our bartenders will be accepting cash and Venmo is also available for those who would like to extend any gratuities.
