Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP before May 8th, 2024 as we will be providing our vendors with our finalized guest list. We will be unable to accommodate any RSVPs after May 8th.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal wedding attire. Please avoid wearing jeans or other casual wear as well as colors typically reserved for the bride (white, ivory, cream, etc.).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive on the grounds for 3:50 pm to avoid missing any parts of the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking on the premises at Wood Acres Farm. If you plan to stay at a nearby hotel, you may also park there as there is shuttle service to and from the venue. For more information on which hotels offer shuttle service, please refer to the 'Travel' tab above.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love our friends and family and we love your children too! Unfortunately, due to venue space restrictions we are unable to accommodate all children. Please refer to your invitation as it will list all guests able to be accommodated.

Question

Am I able to bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation which will state the names of all guests invited to our celebration.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Russell and Samantha want everyone to know that their presence at the wedding is a gift in and of itself! Samantha and Russell have compiled ideas for gifts and are registered through Zola. Please click the tab labeled 'Gifts' to learn more.

Question

Samantha and Russell will have a Dollar Dance during the reception. What is a 'Dollar Dance?'

Answer

The Dollar Dance is a fun and interactive Puerto Rican tradition. During the dance, guests line up and take turns paying $1 or more to dance with the bride or groom. It is a wonderful opportunity to see everyone and to get a few one on one moments with each guest. We encourage our guests to bring cash if you wish to participate. The money gifted during the dollar dance will go towards our honeymoon.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

The food served will be traditional Puerto Rican cuisine. We will have vegetarian options available.
